Methodology

The environmental indicators have been calculated using publicly available indicative data on energy consumption and emissions per transaction for the respective blockchain networks.

Total energy consumption and emissions have been calculated by multiplying the respective indicators by the number of transactions carried out during the reporting period.

For assets that can be transferred across more than one blockchain network, the calculations are based on the network infrastructure used.

Data Reliability

The indicators are based on publicly available technical characteristics of the relevant blockchain networks, blockchain metadata, and publicly available research on the energy consumption of crypto networks.

Transaction activity data has been obtained from the Company’s internal records for the reporting period.
