1.2 Sustainability Information: Sustainability information relates to the environmental, social, and economic impacts of the services provided.
PRICING INFORMATION
2.1 This section describes the pricing details applicable to crypto-asset exchange transactions (both purchases and sales). A purchase means the acquisition of Crypto-Assets through one of the Company’s Crypto ATMs, transferred to the Client’s own wallet in exchange for euros (EUR).
A sale means that the Client sells Crypto-Assets in exchange for euros (EUR).
2.2 Total Transaction Amount:
2.2.1 Purchase Price: The real-time exchange rate for the purchase/sale of Crypto-Assets against funds (fiat currency), based on the price provided by Payward Europe Solutions Limited / Kraken Digital Asset Exchange (Kraken), a crypto-asset service provider licensed under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, at the time of the transaction (the “Kraken Exchange Rate Value”); and
2.2.2 Commission (the commission rate is fixed):
3% – When exchanging Cash for Crypto-Assets (the Client BUYS): The commission is calculated on the market value of the amount of Crypto-Assets being purchased, based on the Kraken rate at the time of the transaction;
4% – When exchanging Crypto-Assets for Cash (the Client SELLS): The commission is calculated on the market value of the amount of Crypto-Assets being sold, based on the Kraken rate at the time of the transaction;
The commission is the primary component of the Company’s revenue. The commission rate is fixed and is the same for all Crypto-Assets offered (BTC, ETH, LTC, and USDC), regardless of the type of asset or the size of the transaction.
Any changes to the commission range shall be made only following approval by the Company’s management body and shall be published in advance in the General Terms available on the Company’s website and through the interface of each Crypto ATM. This document shall also be amended accordingly;
The commission is not determined individually for any particular Client and is applied on a non-discriminatory basis;
2.2.3 Fixed Transaction Fee: EUR 3, representing a fixed fee charged to cover costs associated with the blockchain network and constituting a standard network fee. The Fixed Transaction Fee may be adjusted within a range of EUR 1 to EUR 10 depending on network congestion and prevailing network fees.
Any changes to the range of the Fixed Transaction Fee shall be made only following approval by the Company’s management body and shall be published in advance in the General Terms available on the Company’s website and through the interface of each Crypto ATM. This document shall also be amended accordingly;
The Fixed Transaction Fee is not payable when the Client sells Crypto-Assets in exchange for Cash, as in such cases no transfer to the blockchain network is made.
Formulas:
When Exchanging Cash for Crypto-Assets (the Client BUYS):
Amount of Crypto-Asset Received = (Cash Deposited in EUR − Commission (3%) − Fixed Transaction Fee) ÷ Market Value of the Crypto-Asset (Kraken Rate)
When Exchanging Crypto-Assets for Cash (the Client SELLS):
Cash Received in EUR = (Amount of Crypto-Asset × Market Value of the Crypto-Asset (Kraken Rate)) − Commission (4%)
2.3 Crypto ATM Interface: The General Terms are available on the initial screen of the Crypto ATMs. Before and during the transaction, the following two amounts are displayed separately on the Crypto ATM screen:
2.3.1 The total amount comprising: the Market Price of the Crypto-Asset + the Commission;
2.3.2 The Fixed Transaction Fee (EUR 3) (applicable only when the Client exchanges Cash for Crypto-Assets (BUYS), as only in this case is a transfer made via the blockchain network).
The pricing principles are published on the Company’s website and in the Company’s General Terms.
2.4 Management of Conflicts of Interest:
2.4.1 The Company:
- Does not manipulate the market price. The market price is based on an external reference source and is provided in real time by Payward Europe Solutions Limited / Kraken Digital Asset Exchange (Kraken), a crypto-asset service provider licensed under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (the “Kraken Exchange Rate Value”);
- Does not use inside information;
- Maintains internal policies for fair pricing;
3. SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION
This section describes the sustainability aspects of the Crypto-Assets traded.
Clients can find more detailed information on the Company’s website.
The Company does not discriminate against users or restrict access to the Service, except where required by applicable regulations and Bulgarian and European legislation concerning the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing (AML regulations). The Service is intended for all persons who wish to exchange Crypto-Assets for fiat currencies or fiat currencies for Crypto-Assets.
3.1 Bitcoin (BTC)
Environmental Sustainability
Bitcoin (BTC) uses a Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, which consumes a significant amount of energy.
Estimated annual energy consumption is comparable to that of countries such as the Netherlands (approximately 100–150 TWh per year).
Although energy-intensive, PoW provides a highly secure decentralized information system.
There is evidence of an upward trend in the use of renewable energy sources for mining;
Social Sustainability
Promotes financial inclusion, particularly where access to traditional banking services is limited
Transparency and decentralization of the blockchain network;
Economic Sustainability
Known for its high volatility, although it is gradually decreasing;
Bitcoin’s (BTC) limited maximum supply of 21 million supports its role as a potential long-term store of value (“digital gold”);
3.2 Ethereum (ETH)
Environmental Sustainability
Ethereum (ETH) transitioned to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, significantly reducing its energy consumption (by more than 90% compared to PoW);
Reduced carbon footprint;
Social Sustainability
Supports decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, NFTs, and DeFi.
Facilitates global financial empowerment, although it remains vulnerable to smart contract exploits.
Economic Sustainability
Serves a dual role as both a currency and a smart contract platform.
Ongoing development strengthens long-term economic sustainability.
3.3 Litecoin (LTC)
Environmental Sustainability
Uses Proof-of-Work (PoW) with the Scrypt algorithm, which is less energy-intensive than Bitcoin’s (BTC) SHA-256 algorithm;
Social Sustainability
Faster transactions and lower fees encourage its use for everyday payments.
Originally designed to enable more democratized mining.
Economic Sustainability
Subject to volatility;
Designed for speed and scalability, with a block time of 2.5 minutes;
3.4 USD Coin (USDC)
Environmental Sustainability
USDC is a token built on blockchain networks such as Ethereum (PoS), making it significantly less energy-intensive compared to proof-of-work (PoW) crypto assets.
The carbon footprint is minimal, as it does not require mining.
Social Sustainability
As a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar (USD), USDC provides price stability, making it an accessible tool for financial inclusion.
It facilitates fast and low-cost international transfers, especially for individuals without access to traditional banking services.
Economic Sustainability
Its value is pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar (USD), which eliminates the volatility typically associated with other crypto assets.
The reserves backing USDC are regularly audited by independent auditors.
It is regulated by U.S. financial authorities, providing additional legal certainty.
4. KEY ADVERSE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS
4.1 Proof-of-work (PoW) mechanisms may lead to:
4.1.1 High electricity consumption;
4.1.2 Greenhouse gas emissions;
4.1.3 Емисии на парникови газове;
5. RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH CRYPTOCURRENCIES
Cryptocurrencies are high-risk assets. The list is not exhaustive:
5.1 Market Risk: High volatility.
5.2 Liquidity Risk: Limited trading.
5.3 Security Risk: Vulnerability to hacking and phishing.
5.4 Blockchain Risk: Irreversible errors and delays.
5.5 Operational Risk: Technical vulnerabilities in blockchain and DeFi systems.
5.6 Legal Risk: Rapidly changing regulations.
5.7 Tax Risk: Unclear and changing tax rules.
5.8 Risk of Abuse: Fraud, including romance scams targeting customers.
5.9 Climate and Regulatory Risk: Future legislative initiatives may restrict or impose additional requirements on proof-of-work (PoW) networks, introduce carbon taxes, or impose ESG restrictions at the institutional level.
